City has a 10 day stretch playing Atletico, us, Atletico, us.

Could end up being perfect time to face them

It's sweet that they have to deal with Cholo's antics sandwiched around us

I'll most relish these next 3 points over City, lads. Methinks you're aware of my history with that lot?

City's Premier league schedule favors them
The games in the other competitions will be tough

International Break ending. Time to get back to chasing City. Looking forward to the Watford program being posted.

Yes indeed. This stretch is basically the season, but it could all be undone with one poor result in the remaining league fixtures too. Beating City is paramount. Then it becomes about not slipping up from there.

Wish TAA a speedy and full recovery - we need him for this stretch. Really the one position (other than GK) we can't afford an injury.

That would be massive to have him available. We play the early match on Saturday. Hopefully get the 3 points and pray for a Burnley shithouse special against City.

I’m fine with Trent not playing Saturday. We should best Watford without him

Maybe bring him on at half at Benfica on Tuesday then hope he’s 100% ready for City the following Sunday

Must be wary of the dangerous Cucho Hernandez, who is finally a hornet

have a look at this stunner versus Arsenal

From what I just read, he was not back to full training yet, but is out there with the first team doing some stuff. Ease him back in.

Sounds like there has been some progress in contract talks with Mo which is great news

It obviously made sense him not having much of an impact against Watford coming off the dramatic international break, but we need him to find his form tomorrow. Not necessarily cause we need it to get a result against Benfica but because it’s hard to imagine us getting 3 points on Sunday at the Etihad without some Mo magic. I was just thinking about his incredible goals against City at Anfield early in the season and how frustrating it is we didn’t get all 3 points in that match

Anyways, seems like we have a fully healthy squad heading into an absolutely massive next 2 weeks. Lets start things off by going into Portugal and winning the 1st leg tomorrow

I have faith he’ll turn up for the big game.

How’s our health looking? Should Trent and Diaz be back by today or weekend?
