Yup. One win changes everything.

Your sarcasm and takes are constantly and consistently arse.

We’ve had onesie-twosie matches where we destroy defensive sides. Overall, when someone parks the bus, we are hot garbage when it comes to the attacking third. That is not arguable.

Also not arguable is that we only have four capable forwards and play three every match because of our system.

Could say the same about you and half the boards constant bitching when we’re sitting at the top of the table.

To each their own though, not going to get into it.

Good win for the guys.

“Here’s a backhanded comment… but I’m not gonna get into it.”

C’mon, dude.

I mean, you're both kinda of right. Most teams struggle against low block defensive wall. We are not immune to that.

Last year, we struggled worse. It was for a lot of reasons, but notably several of our CBs are excellent long passers, and help open space against defensive teams. With those CBs out hurt for much if not all of the year, it changes how we play. What could be one direct pass to the wing because two, allowing the defense to keep its shape as it shifts.

Add to that, our entire team shape and spacing was different due to having slower CBs and it took awhile to figure out how to play.

I don't suspect, given our first choice line-up, or near our first choice line-up that we will struggle as much as last year in those situations. But just like all teams, we will have challenges breaking them down.

Problem is injuries and AFCON will mean we don't have our first choice line-up for some portion of the season. Another attacker would have been great. We will just have to see how we cope early in 2022.

The good news - we have done awesome scoring from corners so far this year.

Yeah - all 3 goals yesterday we're second chances off of corners...

I think you gotta throw last year out... way too many injuries.. How we came in 3rd is beyond me...

I was really hoping (and I assume the club was), that moving Harvey into one of those #8 roles, was going to offer more creativity in the final third... Something we really haven't had since Coutinho... We also don't have a goal scorer in the MF... Someone like a Stevie or Bruno for United... Maybe Keita can have a nice run (Elliot and Thiago are out) and be that guy... 5-8 goals would be nice...

Not much talk about today’s match. Seems Keita was subbed due to injury.

Easy choice for me. Watch a team that is led by the legend Klopp or a shrimp boat captain.........

Still atop the table, but missed a huge opportunity to go up by 3 points instead of 1... oh well... regroup, figure out the defensive struggles and press on

Easy victory today - Costa was horrible in goal.

Kloop saying TAA is doubtful at RB for City. Any chance we try Robbo or Tsim at RB instead of Milli?
