I see a Carabao cup in their future before the regularly scheduled Year 3 turmoil.

He must have mandated some insane transfer guarantees. And if Spurs complied, why the frick did they not do the same for Poch?

That would still be one more trophy than we’ve won in a long, long, time.

I don’t see how he even makes year 3. Spurs won’t spend a third of what he wants and feels entitled to.

Head scratching but great entertainment.

This is going to be fun to watch. He's a looooong way from Porto and has been really used to spending a whole bunch of cash. I wonder if Levy has a half a billion laying around he's ready to spend because his manager will be telling everybody about it real soon. Jose will at least get results.....0-0 results, but results.

Genuine question: Does anyone think this is a good hire? Are there any Spurs fans who think that having Jose is better than Poch?

As a stop-gap interim type I was fine with it.

Longterm? I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit worried for the future.
Going to be a fun ride for the next year and a half though.

It's short term. Jose and long term are two things that are mutually exclusive.

Jose just gets results wherever he goes. He just never sticks around for long and has a personality some players can't stand after awhile, but the guy is one of the best to ever do it. As long as Spurs back Jose with money (as much I as I hate to admit it) Spuds might win a trophy or two. Or it somehow just goes horrendously because it's Tottenham
