Been to the Den a few times the last decade. Absolutely love the Millwall vibe. Loftus Road may be the most underrated London football experience. Old school ground, loyal fanbase and Shepherd's Bush/White City are close to a ton of great sights, restaurants and nightlife.

Selhurst would be a fun venue, no doubt. But considering star power, those teams are gutted. Chelsea/Man City has the star power especially considering the Palmer-Pep recent history.

Ya, even tough I read the same things about the neighborhood, the people I saw looked like they could have been pulled out of early 1980s blue collar London Central casting. Like a Guy Ritchie movie. Loved it. I was in the "family section" because I brought my kids but I was under no illusion. As the frustration mounted the dads were losing their shite.

QPR definitely looked cool too. I'd rather these clubs than what I perceive to be a largely corporate vibe for Premier League but that's just my guess on how those games go.

Tottenham Spurs have a beautiful new stadium and the atmosphere is great. About 45 minutes on train or bus from central London.

I dunno about Palace. From what I can tell, Selhurst Park is a dump.

Its not a new stadium but you are close to the action.

But the depression of the crowd after they inevitably go all Spursy in a match may not be fun.

I have no idea why someone would fly all the way over there just to go to one of the new NFL copycat stadiums. You can stay here and go to SoFi for a lot less time and money.

For a neutral sports fan Chelsea vs City would be my pick.

Thank you, that's my point with Selhurst. If you are a fan of Arsenal, Chelsea or Spurs, then absolutely go see them. But if a neutral and want a less corporate atmosphere, hit up the different teams in London. I had a blast when I went to Selhurst.

All jokes aside, at this point I'd personally be trying Fulham. Looks like it is relatively easy to get tickets. Seems you can purchase right from their website. Undetermined if you need a fan account to make it through the process, but it appears decidedly easier than what I have heard fans of Big 6 teams have to go through to come from abroad.

Fulham FC Match Tickets

Edit: You need a free OneFulham account but not a paid membership. The free account is your ticketing profile. Some higher profile tickets may require a paid membership... but I tested it and looks like I could get tickets to the Everton match right now if I wanted and only for around $80-150 USD. That's probably high, but I feel like it is becoming the norm. Cannot imagine how much Big 6 fans are getting priced out though.

We went to watch West Ham when they were one of the worst teams. London Stadium was awesome, and The crowd singing “Blowing Bubbles” is amazing. Its the best pro sporting event Ive ever attended.

We’re Newcastle fans. I worked with some British guys, and we had British friends. I didn’t have a team and googled “White trashiest team in Premier League”. Ive been watching them ever since.

Palace is a pain in the arse to get to.

Spend some $ and get hospitality tickets for Arsenal.

Brentford and/or West Ham will be the easier matches to get tickets for. Atmosphere will be more fun at Brentford.

Why has Fulham basically been ignored in this thread? West London, seems relatively easy and reasonably priced to go to Craven Cottage from the little research I've done, and the stadium and location itself are iconic.

The seats you are likely to obtain at Fulham will be in the new Riverside Stand, and those are expensive. Mostly tourists and plastics sit there, and they are frowned upon by the "troo fans..."
If you're not Fulham and end up in the Hammersmith End, especially, you could be thrown out by the stewards.

Yes, the ground is iconic.

I'll never understand the British football fan. They want their teams to become global brands, get the best players, push for trophies or at the very least not get relegated (Everton), but then get all bent out of shape when foreigners actually become fans.

if you become a fan of fulham, follow the club like anyone else and get your membership, then fly to London and go to a match and cheer like any other fan would do they have no problem with that.

what they don’t like are actual tourists who are just there to see a real life premier league match and couldn’t name a player on either team.
