He just wasn't playing very aware of everyone else. Too many times he got the ball with a poor touch, or tried to turn into someone pressing him, or just plain held on to the ball too long. I think he's done well as our deeper CM, but a lot of his mistakes seem to just come down to lack of experience and naivety

I don't understand the Can hate - Arsenal was FAR from his best game, and he wasted some chances at the 18, but you can see what he brings to the table, and as Zaba said, most of his mistakes or shortcomings are things he will likely grow out of as he gets more experience.
I do agree that he's a B2B, and that when he's asked to play more of a CDM, there is a vulnerability there. But I think he's going to be a really good player.
I still dream of that pass he made to Studge for the goal against Southamption in the Cup game.

I don't even consider it wasting chances.. he took chances, that imo, would have been incredible goals had they gone in.. I mean his first shot on goal, led to our first goal... I think it's a positive.. I'd rather that, than what we were seeing... many of our players waiting for the perfect opportunity or to walk it in..

I love can. Y'all have to remember that he's just what just 21? He has a huge potential and I feel like he could be a great CM for us down the road. This is his first season actually playing CM so it's going to have ups and downs but would you rather anyone else we have on our squad playing in his position? I'd stick it out with him bc I feel like he can only get better

Can, Firmino, Lallana, Henderson and Moreno are guys that are going to get better and better under Klopp. Clyde has been everything I hoped for and I actually miss Lovren! Klopp's influence on him has been nothing short of miraculous considering where he came from under BR.

I may be looked down upon, but Lovren is probably my favorite player we have right now. He is beyond passionate about being a Red.

I still don't think he's very good, but he's been better... I don't hate him and I actually feel bad for the tons of abuse he has endured...

I think he's been so much better under Klopp than under BR. Hope his form continues to improve because really he's been decent since JK took over
