New team rule. Henderson isn't allowed to shoot.

Or Can, Lallana, or Coutinho. They are all woefully inaccurate from any distance.

Guys wide open at the top of the box, but yeah, let's keep sending in crosses.

The more things change the more they stay the same.

I've never been quite sold on Henderson, especially being given the Captain band. He's done nothing this year to change my mind.

I have a feeling we are going to see an overhaul in the summer. You are going to have to be able to actually score a goal if you play in a forward position. When you look at our club it has good pieces but it is horribly disjointed in it's structure. We really shouldn't have given BR that kind of money.

Overhaul just means more inconsistency.

I didn't watch every match of his at AV... But, for a target man, does he always wait for pull backs at the top of the 18 pr does he ever get stuck in!!

Edit: Benteke

I can't wait to see the back of some of these players!

I gotta remind myself that this is still a squad filled with a lot of average players... Klopp will need a couple of windows... It's just frustrating, but we are missing quality in a few key areas... Though, I like what I see and you can see what klopp wants...

Uggghh

I should have said, I like the style Klopp is implementing... Obviously, what I see isn't that great at times...

JK: "The set play was not good defending but unlucky because we made changes just before." #LFC

Just say Lucas forgot to continue marking his man.

It sucks but at the end of the day it shows you the direction the two teams are headed. Despite the win (and in some ways because of it) United are headed for mediocrity. At the same time you can see what Klopp is doing. Things are looking up for this Liverpool team.

Chins up gentlemen. We destroyed that team in every aspect. Sometimes it doesn't go your way.

deluded

too even say such things b/c Klopp like I said at the start of the year will have to completely gut that squad. So who knows what results it will produce.

United are a younger and better squad to say the club is heading to mediocrity is wishful thinking. Not to mention a better crop of academy players than Liverpool, who are actually getting first team experience. Two local lads out there today for United.

Hah. Not my words. Ask anyone in any way familiar with the EPL right now. Its clear your team is stagnant.

And without having gutted that squad we've played United, Arsenal, City, Southampton, and Chelsea off the pitch. All while dealing with unheard of injuries, the most matches per week out of any team in the league, and a largely pathetic squad.

You have some promising youth. Martial will be a super star soon. Herrera is a good player. Other than that the majority of your starting 11 is either already at their peak or ancient. Smalling, Rooney, Mata, Fro, Scheiderlin, and Young aren't babies. De Gea is only on this squad because of a fax machine. And are you really citing this Borthwich-Jackson kid as something special? We've already had high profile academy kids on his stature start, and actually contribute (assists) to important games such as Brad Smith and Jordan Rossiter.

This all goes without mentioning that you have LVG on the touchline. The massive silver lining today is that it'll keep him at United longer so I can't be too angry.

You are grasping straws man. A bad run of form doesn't mean a club is heading toward mediocrity. Even after a bad run we are still 5th.

He's also had some stinkers out there. Congrats on getting a 300 million pound squad to perform.

Our injury situation has been just as bad.

Im talking about actually youth players not just those guys.

Smalling is 26, not even the prime years for a CB, Scheiderlin is also 26. The rest won't be at the club that much longer. While the rest of the squad is very very young.

quote:

De Gea is only on this squad because of a fax machine

Such sour fricking grapes.

He kept Milner is his pocket today. We played two local boys who graduated from the academy last night.

Neither have played as good as Lingard

If you are not keeping up with current events, he will be gone after next season and maybe even this year.

Keep up the deluded Liverpool thinking. Already sounding how you did under BR.

IMO, thats the only thing that matters in what you said... and who your next hire will be...

I'm confident we got the right guy in place, so here's to the future
