My kingdom for a #9 - The USMNT World Cup striker catch-all thread

I know we have the Americans Abroad thread, but I figure we can use this thread to specifically focus what American strikers are doing at the club level in the lead up to the World Cup... because we really need someone to step up.
Some names in the mix and I'll continue to update if new (or old) faces emerge.
We've seen them, we don't really like them
Josh Sargent, Norwich
Jesus Ferreira, FC Dallas
Jordan Theoson-Smith Siebatcheu Pefok, Young Boys
Ricardo Pepi, Augsborg
Gyasi Zardes, Colorado Rapids
Winger is French for Striker?
Nicholas Gioachinni, Montpeiller
Timothy Weah, Lille
Hey, we're in Europe
Daryl Dike, West Brom
Matthew Hoppe, Mallorca
Andrija Novakovich, Frosinone
Christian Ramirez, Aberdeen
Haji Wright, Antalyaspor
Gregg love MLS, right?
Jozy Altidore, New England Revolution
Bobby Wood, Real Salt Lake
Cade Cowell, San Jose Earthquakes
Jeremy Ebobisse, San Jose Earthquakes
Brandon Vasquez, FC Cincinnati
OLASFB
Folarin Balogun, Middlesbrough
Julian Green Reincarnated
Malik Tillman, Bayern Munich U21
Wondo
Chris Wondolowski, retired...?

It's crazy, but he got hot at the end of last season and into the playoffs, and carried it over this season with 2 goals and an assist in 4 games.
The flying Hawaiian may not be finished with us just yet.

I miss that dude being a solid option for us. Just super athletic and a decent shot. Shame his career went the way it did.
Also I feel like this board is a little harsh on Ferreira. If we don’t see a Dike or Pepi emerge as a reliable scoring option I think he starts the first WC game.

I think Gregg likes him the most of the strikers we've used throughout this cycle.

Love the clever way you subdivided them into various categories, mate.
Solid post, that.

FIFA 2016 GOAT. Used to wreck shop with him and baby Pulisic.

Would give away both of my children for the 2013 version of Jozy that scored a hat trick against Bosnia in a friendly.

Let's just go all china / Qatar on this and offer someone citizenship and some money to come play

It has to be someone who is good enough to be a clear improvement who has also never played for a senior side.
I know it was said tongue-in-cheek but is there anyone who fits the bill?
In my America, Jose Torres still serves as a defensive playmaker, Brel Shea is a versatile winger, Mix Diskerrud is a complete central midfielder, Benny Feilhaber is a beloved and versatile sub, and Kenny Cooper still is a great finisher with a strong first touch.

Pretty much what we're trying to do with Balogun, who was in an England youth camp recently, but commented on Musah's instagram post about qualifying.

So far the best guy I can come up with is Anderson Talisca.
Check out this line-up that I’ve come up with just now. An all star team of “some guys”.
GK: Cody Cropper
LB: Jonathan Bornstein
CD: Clarence Goodsen
CD: Steve Birmbaum
RB: Jonathan Spector (also a LB)
DM: Danny Williams
CDM: Mix
CDM: Jose Torres
Winger: Brek Shea
Winger: Joe Corona (arguably too established for this group)
Striker: Terrence Boyd/Kenny Cooper

Idk if you can put guys who started in World Cups in this list (Bornstein, Torres).
Put Jorge Villafana or Justin Morrow at LB, Freddy Adu has to be a winger.
Logan Pause has to be in here somewhere as well.
