Basically, it's a document outlining how they are going to kill off youth soccer in this state. They aren't going to allow anything over small training with <10 even with Phase 3. Basically, there is no pathway to practices and games at this time. Some highlights of their rules
quote:

Before each soccer activity a Coach must organize “stations” for each player at or around the bench area that are at least 6 feet apart in which players must keep all of their belongings. This can be done with cones. They shall be required to return only to their “station” only during breaks.
quote:

The use of scrimmage vest or pinnies is prohibited.
quote:

Parents must stay inside or in close proximity to their car when at any soccer activity. If outside their car, parents must wear a face mask and must adhere to social distancing guidelines
quote:

There shall be no activities that would require direct or indirect contact between players.
quote:

Staff participating in any soccer activity (e.g. player registration) must wear face masks and observe social distancing at all times.

Yeah, that kind of sucks. I think this is going to have a massive effect on all youth sports though.

So what? Each kid just takes a turn scoring on an empty net.

Only 1 kid on the field at a time?

Karen has infected the whole country with this nonsense.

I’m going to start my own organization which only requires you to sign a form saying you are an adult, you understand the “risks”, you assume all responsibility and won’t sue me for catching a sneeze, a cold, the flu, a stomach bug etc.

Tucker is an asshat. He is single handedly one of the biggest impediments to soccer growth in this state.

I'm still waiting to hear anything from any of our organizations about getting back to playing games.

So they can’t do anything at all until June 15th right? Can’t even kick with a coach 20 yards away from each other right?

Can this guy explain exactly what he thinks is going to be different between now and June 15th? Nothing is the answer.

I hate when people think they are devising this special educated plan that makes ABSOLUTELY ZERO sense.

And as soon as practice ends kids walk to the cars next to each other and go stand next to each other to look at a tik tok video. It’s all about feeling safe.

I’m going to direct my kid to dribble the ball down the field yelling, 6’, 6’ till he dribbles the ball in the goal. No reason to raven shoot just dribble it in.

Yep. And almost all of the "safety measures" proposed by the likes of MLB and other outfits are more about optics than actual science

He carves up the state's league structure every other year. He rolls out "academy level" leagues with harsh requirements and then lets anyone participate. It's fricked up a lot of clubs to some degree and left lots of kids without a team to play for. He tries to model after the larger more advanced states but doesn't have the knowledge or structure to pull it off.

Regional leagues like the NPL(GSPL) or MidSouth...or are you talking about local leagues? Seems like there’s a whole tournament culture in between.

See the BS rules he just released if you want an example of why Tucker sucks.

No clubs were notified ahead of time about these changes. They were all planning/operating off of a set of guidelines laid out a few weeks ago. Clubs were consulted recently about approaches to take and LSA basically threw all that out the window.

None of these guidelines LSA released align with the national mandates from US Youth Soccer or US Club soccer. He basically just put this on clubs with no notice and no mandates from governing bodies. Don't be surprised if he gets a significant unified push back from clubs and has to walk back some of these restrictions a bit.

I read it now, Phase 3 isn’t that far off. IDK what they’ll do for a team like ‘06 BRSC Black boys that made nationals in Co this year. Middle of June is when it was scheduled.

We’re in MS and our organization is no where near as strong. Of my son’s two teams neither plays an MSA event. His team last year won MSA state for U13s, but he switched clubs.
