3 shots taken. Only had 25% possession.
What a pathetic showing. Glad I didn’t get to watch it.

You got your wish. I've never seen a liverpool team schooled like that and I remember the Rodgers era
0 shots on target. 26% possession. 78% pass accuracy. Just...WTF was that.

The defense collapses of the back line were atrocious. Virgil had no idea where to be, Konate was doing Konate things. It should have been 4-0.

PSG looked like they were playing their 14-year old squad today.
I might be being generous to Liverpool with that statement.

Salah announces departure
Robertson announces departure today.
Slot still has a job.
FML
Would love to see Robertson back at the club in the future in some sort of assistant role.

When Neves did a shoulder pass at the left back position I legit said, “Damn” out loud. They were just so nasty

A really surprising stress free 3 points today. Who saw that coming?
I’ve resigned to the fact that if we finish top 5 we’re keeping Slot

I’m hoping Slot stays. I know most others that post on here are over him and ready for the sack.
At his last club, his style was effective and his first year here we obviously did well. Does no one believe he can get it right with this squad if he gets another chance next season and maybe a somewhat normal offseason?
The Man City game was horrible and the team looked like dog shite at PSG. I have a small amount of faith that we can still win that tie. If he gets bounced by PSG, but guides Liverpool to CL football next year, I think year 3 will be much better.

I genuinely do not believe he can but I hope like hell I’m wrong
Nothing about his tactics (what are they?) or game management this season has given me any confidence
Last season was Mo creating and scoring goals from individual brilliance. Just like Rio’s goal today. It’s great to have players who can create out of nothing but you can’t count on that as your strategy long term

Pretty sure Carlo Ancelotti has made a career of this.

I don’t like the idea of rolling the dice on losing out on a CL spot next year.
I wish we would have made a move a few weeks back, maybe even after Man City.
Too much talent on this squad for the CAPTAIN(s) to be talking about Quitters’ Syndrome after one goal.

But what’s the play? Bring in Alonso who couldn’t handle the Real job. Are we certain he can be the man at a big club?
This team is in transition. Big Virg has had some amazing years at Liverpool, but he has also been the cause of some issues on the back line. I think the RB transition/injury situation has been a big issue. We keep putting midfielders back there because of a lack of depth. TAA wasn’t the best defender, but he was a great distributor on offense. I think it was time for Andy to go as well, but after a slow start I think Milos is starting to get more comfortable.
I like Slot’s calmness under the circumstances. He stepped into big shoes and was carried by Salah’s amazing year for sure, but he brought home the premier league title. Yeah, he spent a lot in the summer, but he also lost a lot. I don’t think him coming back is gambling on a CL spot.
Will see how it plays out. Good win today. Hope City can take all the points from Chelsea.
