Sesko has agreed to contracts with ManU and Newcastle, now it's up to Liepzeg to agree to a transfer fee with one of them.
If Newcastle get Sesko, seems like you'll see us submit that 2nd bid for Isak and get a deal done.
More importantly, seems like Palace's asking price for Guehi is too high, and we've started showing some interest in Brentford captain 24 year old CB Nathan Collins

Looks like Sesko to United which doesn’t help us with Isak. Still a few weeks for Newcastle to find another forward or 2 though
Also, looks like Darwin is off to Saudi for a pretty penny
I wonder if our transfer plans are decided regardless if we get Isak (I.e. who we are targeting) or if we may go bigger on a cb if we don’t get Isak
Isak is kinda reminding me of VVD back when he was at Southampton. Wouldn’t shock me at all if we got him in the winter or next summer. Only worrisome thing about that is other clubs will likely pursue him. This summer has been a perfect mix of everything where no other club is considering him

€53+ for Darwin and Leipzig are sniffing around Harvey as he wants to play 1st team football.

Tyler Morton was sold today as well for $20M to Lyon.

Alexander Isak will train away from the main group at Newcastle United training today, reports Sky Sports.
Isak’s been told to report late afternoon and train and recover on his own.
The players and staff will have a team gathering this afternoon with families invited, adds Downie.
Isak will report to the training ground after they have left.
Bit of a shite show over at Newcastle.

Liverpool have agreed a deal to sell Darwin Nunez to Al-Hilal for €53M - and will now focus on landing a replacement.
Nunez, 26, is flying out to Germany on Thursday to complete his medical with the Saudi club, who are currently in Europe for pre-season preparations.

Arne Slot's team have already had two offers for Guehi rejected by Crystal Palace. They currently have no intentions of making a third, higher bid, and Palace seem unwilling to compromise on their valuation.

Just a reminder the community shield game against Crystal Palace is this Sunday.

Sesko if official to ManU now. Bit of a blow to the Isak situation for us.
Plan B is supposedly 22 year old left winger Bradley Barcola from PSG.

I'm really hoping the Magpies submit a bid for Jackson or Watkins in the coming days. If they lose Alex and don't bring in a replacement it would have to be considered the worst summer transfer window for any team in PL history. Which would be ironic coming off their first major trophy win in 50+ years. I still think Isak ends up in Liverpool Red or Chelsea Blue before September 1.
Sunday at 9am CST. Do you have access to a program link choppa ?

Since it's not a home game I don't know if there's going to be a program. Usually if there is I will get it in my email 2 days before the game. If there is one rest assured I will post it as usual. And thanks for the correction on the day.

Low key gonna miss Capt Chaos. He didn’t reach that full potential but I’ll never hate on the guy. At least he was giving it his all, even if he was missing wide or hitting the crossbar.

Darwin is a lovable character. His best moment was certainly the "down a man brace" winners against Newcastle.
I hope he finds success ASAP. He is for sure making a lot more money than he would have otherwise.

I really like Darwin and hope he finds success in the future (wish it would have been in Europe)... I think somewhere in there is a 20+ goal striker... Hopefully, a change will do him good...

Agreed. Potential has always been there. Really wanted him to breakout here. But he does hold at least 1 liverpool record. Most crossbars hit. Seriously though. Best of luck.

This one doesn't make a ton of sense. I think if we're going to bring in a specialist left sided player he needs to be a level above Gakpo. Paying 100m for a 22 year old at the same level as your starter- when you have a 16 year old at the same spot that could be a phenom...I just don't get that.
I would be on board would Rodrygo fwiw

I dunno... I think Barcola may have a higher ceiling that Rodrygo.. he's electric!
I think Rodrygo's age maybe fits Rio's timeline a little more..
edit: I would be ecstatic with either FWIW

Well we are gonna have to sign at least 1 attacker and 1 defender. We literally have 1 striker and basically no second team CBs

Sitting at the hospital with Mrs Parrothead and our 48 hour old bundle of joy, baby girl Parrothead. YWNA hit a little different when I played it for her this morning during her feeding and I felt myself tearing up! Community shield, community service, doesn’t matter… UP THE FOOKING REDS! Can’t believe this season is already here!
