Yes many things. Starting with the ending of corruption in FIFA and UEFA (hell in all the confederations) to retroactive banning for diving to better use of technology during the game, among many others. It's not like people here think the sport is perfect.

I would like retroactive carding for blatant dives. Maybe fines if people would still rather "take one for the team." Immediate yellow for crowding the ref.

You suggested that it be reviewed in a booth and handed out in the middle of the game. A more plausible idea would be post-game, as interrupting games to handle disciplinary issues would hurt the flow of the game.
