Tough group top to bottom, but Germany is the only superpower in the group. We have proven that we can beat Portugal in the past (2002). I believe the current US squad is better than that one. That Portugal team was considered their Golden Generation. The current version is a one man team. You stop Ronaldo, you stop Portugal. Ghana's been our bogeyman, but they're not unbeatable either.

Amen, 2002 Portugal we beat their "golden generation" and we are so due vs Ghana... 8 years of frustration pent up, I hope we explode vs them to start this WC off right.

You pussies. This is a tough group but this is par for the course now in the WC. We can definitely get out of this group. We have a really balanced side who can play with most teams in the world. We can compete with Germany, but we can definitely beat Portugal and Ghana.

Thank you sir for not immediately going into the fetal position like so many others. Ghana and Germany will be tough, but Portugal have looked like shite. Yea yea yea, Ronaldo hat trick. It's time to nut up boys, Klinsmann will have them ready for the challenge. They won't lie down, so neither should you.

I guess I still have some faith in our boys. But you know Deutschland is going to bring the pain against Klinnsman. Still could get revenge on Ghana though.

I'm worried about a third-game slack off not happening even if they go 2-0 for this very reason.

They'll play to win, but they will rest some key players, surely?

Pretty accurate description of where I'm at, too.

I'll be a full-blooded biased American homer by June.

Top 3 in Group B are murder, but I don't see an Australia type in group G.
