We get to see Hendo make 10+ passes a match to the wrong team
The fact that Wilshere made it over Drinkwater should be even more of shock than Hendo.

just not sure how you can complain about Hendo when you can count the number of games on one hand the Wilshere has played.

but then again, any pool player making it will upset you so

Did Gignac have that amazing of a season in Liga MX?

I just can't fathom bringing him over Lacazette.

Why no Lacazette?

Also, who is starting keeper for France? I assume Lloris, but Mandanda is a beast too

by not bringing him England literally have zero width

Sterling is just Sterling

and you can't play Lallana out wide at this level.

saw this comment on an article

quote:

Roy is a genius. Picks Sterling who had asked to be dropped because of tiredness and drops a hard-working player like Townsend who didn't play half season, joins an about to be relegated team and almost single handedly saves the from relegation playing half a season for them . Well done Hodgson you won the Euro by just naming your squad

So without the Valbuena issue with the French team in general you don't think Benzema would have been invited over Gignac, Giroud, Martial, and Payet?

I was always under the impression that the whole thing with the extortion was the thing that was keeping him out of the Euro squad.

Wilshere was far and away their best player throughout qualification and is their most talented midfielder. If he was fit, he was going.

they have a complete team, too. they have quality cBs, outside backs, defensive mids, offensive mids, wingers, various types of strikers, etc. most of the international rosters posted have uneven squads

I mean the only reason he isn't going is because of the Valbuena thing.

I don't care what anyone says, if France's manager takes a baw from Liga MX over the starting forward for Real Madrid who scored 28 goals this season then they're wrong. No arguing it.
