Will he have to explain why no Gio or is this a Sean Payton / NOLA media situation where there's nobody to question him?

Lalas then proceeded to kiss Gregg’s arse

We have too many sycophant ex players in the media who will cover for him

In general we don’t have anywhere near the pundits in England who have the bravery or platform to call bullshite

Yeah but I want Gregg like in a formal press setting being asked about it and then being pressed on it if he evades.

Possible this happens or nah?

No way he gets pressed on it. We just have a bunch of lap dogs in the media and none of them will dare attack the MLS

Alexi seems like a paper tiger to me I agree he's not going to rock the boat. Was hoping someone else could / would tho.

I would imagine…

I mean a reporter point blank asked ab him lying ab GR being injured didn’t they? Asking him ab his mindset with the subs seems much less intrusive but who knows.

Yea he goes hard but he isn’t going to attack the US soccer golden god that is the MLS. We just don’t really have anyone with a platform to do it. The US soccer mafia would cut all access

Easy question: the team has scored twice in three matches. why has one of your most valuable offensive creators only seen the field for 7 out of 270 regulation minutes played?

There really is no need to ask. He clearly chose to park the bus. He got lucky and it worked, so what else is there to discuss?

Right I am in the boat that a) there is nothing sinister going on and b) Gregg made cowardly changes, going either like for like (but worse) or defensive.

No because the US has a "good ol' boys club" mentality when it comes to this sport. Across the board. They don't want to upset anyone. It's really a case of anyone with a real voice keeping quiet to stay on their good side.

Why one of our 5 best players has seen less than 10 minutes of play during the group stage. Especially when there have been ample opportunities that many would assume he would be the sub, however he remains on the bench.

I know Stejskal and Tenorio of the athletic basically hated the subbing pattern and decision to turtle. Not sure if they got to ask questions to that effect though

Our media has no idea about soccer. They thought the Chicago Fire could win the World Cup
