Protective Stadium in Birmingham

Would be a disaster. No parking anywhere. Legion games had a much better atmosphere at UAB. The ownership thinks bigger is better but the fans disagree: Legion “adjusting” to new stadium

Laugh at him all you want, but that stuff definitely doesn’t help to add asses in seats, especially in Ohio.

As someone who goes to pretty much every Ohio qualifier, I assure you gay pride flags will in no way prevent people from showing up. The crowd is young, diverse, and almost certainly overwhelmingly pro gay. Usually, there are quite a few rainbow flags in the crowd in Columbus, even when it isn't pride month.

I genuinely think Americans have too many sporting options to expect us to ever turn up consistently to friendlies, especially when the ticket prices are unreasonably high. I had absolutely no desire to go to this game, and you can bet I'll be at the next Ohio qualifier.

I don't think it's really hurt attendance, but I'm all for keeping political and social causes out of sports. It's annoying as hell.

Charging over $60 for the reasons above is ridiculous

Is that the lowest ticket price? Geez. I’m going to the Arsenal Chelsea game in Orlando this summer and my ticket was $45. And it’s just a preseason friendly.

Yep, those were the cheap ones. Pulisic, a multi-millionaire, calling out fans not willing to pay that or more during extremely high inflation is just not smart. For all we know a lot of the empty seats could have been the ones going for $160. Whoever thought charging $160 for that match should have been the person criticized. Not the fans.

Why don’t they play in other cities? Seems like just rotate to the same places over and over. There are 100+ stadiums in this country capable of hosting a US mens soccer match. Hit them up. Tap into potential local markets.

I'm happy he has the balls to call out the ridiculous rainbow numbers. I will not be watching any matches in those kits
