Are you saying that the stands were empty because the team had rainbow numbers on their jersey?

Of all the bad takes about why fans don't show up to matches, this might be the worst I've seen.

You mean "straight men who get irrationally bothered by something that has zero effect on their own lives"?

I think ticket prices and lack of diversity in venues are bigger issues.

It's ticket prices + Wed night + meaningless game. I would have thought those prices were in line with a true qualifier. Also, a lot of those Moroccan fans were US citizens just like a lot of Mexican fans at US games are US citizens.

Weird phrasing, but I think he means we play at the same venues over and over.

Laugh at him all you want, but that stuff definitely doesn’t help to add asses in seats, especially in Ohio.

- Tuesday night in Cincinnati
- We’ve already qualified for the World Cup
- It’s Morocco who for even the hardcore fans that know them realize Hakimi wasn’t playing

Which leads to the grand finale:

- Charging over $60 for the reasons above is ridiculous

I wonder if any of the soccer press will actually call out USSF over ticket prices and repetitive venue selections.

Most of them will probably continue to be(soccer boards favorite word incoming) bootlickers and blame the fans or go after Pulisic for being honest.

If it has zero effect, then lets stop the rainbow shite and just use the normal kits.

Honest or clueless? Rich athlete criticizing fans for not shelling out hundreds for what amounts to a preseason game. Imagine NFL players saying this stuff for a preseason game. They wouldn't because they get it. Christian does not.

Well if you listened to his quote, he was griping not about the size of the crowd, but about the makeup. Why could the Moroccan fans afford tickets, but not team USA fans? Your logic appears flawed.
