Let’s be honest he wasn’t a fan until those four fans called Sterling a black c*nt.
He’s been googling everything he can since

Chelsea were the side for me ever since me UKIP/Brexit mates on Facebook all happened to support them.
I was more inclined to support Man City like Liam and Noel as I was a huge Oasis fan all through the 90's and early 2000's until SCH pointed out who owned them

Oy govnah, haven’t you and your mates (and their Page 3-level birds) learned that Oasis and the other Britpop bands of the 90s are all supporters of the Labour Party?

Him and his mates are going to the red lion to smash some pints and then glass some unsuspecting immigrant.

Hoping Pulisic converts to Islam in London, as every team needs a talented ball-carrying Muslim playmaker with a major attitude problem.

Noel has definitely evolved into a Tory. He has to keep schtum about it. Liam is Labour through and through. Troubling, really but then he is still more working class than his bruv.

You don't know what you're missing.

I am happy he is playing in the EPL for Chelsea because I will get to see him and support him
Not sure if this is good for his career though

I like the comparison but my only concern for him is that his production numbers haven’t really improved. Needs more end product for sure.

If that person used only Bundesliga minutes, then his production is slightly improving when looking at minutes per goal/assist.

This season Pulisic is way too static in his movement, from what I've seen. Learning to create space for himself is probably the hardest thing a winger can do. Lots of wide players don't develop that sense for quite a while. Pulisic has been precocious in a lot of ways, but maybe he will follow a more normal trajectory, and find his feet at 24-25 rather than now. I just don't know if he will get the playing time he needs to develop.

He cant be as a big a flop as Altidore was at least.

same. i have talked to a several people irl that never watch soccer that are excited to see an american play. i know bundashliga is on fox sports 1, but it seems like EPL has better coverage on NBC

Altidore was a flop because he was used as a target striker when he's much more comfortable playing on the half-turn. It's a similar situation to Lukaku, who isn't a target striker despite looking like one. Altidore would have done better in the Bundesliga or France.
Frankly, the US just needs players playing in the top leagues, not necessarily the top teams. The important thing is to play a lot and play often. We are still a very small country with regards to quality players, and what matters is playing consistently at a high level, not necessarily what team the player is on.
