Good game guys.

We had chances but also had several escapes. Pool attacked and defended well. I’ll take a point on the road against Liverpool.

bummed i missed this game
sounded like we were were playing very defensive and not much going forward
Zinny got schooled on that goal and almost gave up another
Salah tried that same move twice against Saliba and was denied
glad boys salvaged a point atleast

Saliba Gabriel and Rice saved this game for us.
Hardest away trips left this season are at Spurs and at City
We have played all top 3 home teams based on points

Rice is an absolute beast. Worth every penny.
We need a party replacement stat so we can move Kai off of the pitch. Not a huge fan of the Kai, Ø, rice trio. Feel like the whole second half Kai was no where to be found when we were possessing the ball in our defensive half, leaving no forward connections with Ø

No it was really back and forth the whole time, it could have easily been 3-3, 3-1, 1-3, etc and really should have been 2-2. Ref basically let them play and was a blast to watch. Two evenly matched teams

We could've paid double and he'd still be worth it. Huge point today.

The bigger issue is left back.
Still.
We play a guy who isn’t great at defending in defense and a guy not great at stopping shots in goal. We basically play them because they are supposedly good with the ball at their feet but both look worse with it at times than our center backs.
Zen is a very annoying player. He’s too casual at times. Yeah that works against shite teams, but not Liverpool. And he’s cost us against them twice now.
And remember when Timber came in Gabriel was benched. So we don’t know how the d would have shaped up if he was healthy.

I've mentioned it before but I legit think Timber is a Zinchenko replacement

Not only is he his replacement, he's an upgrade.

He played one half against a relegation battle team, calm down a bit
Edit: forgot he also played well in the shield against city. Still, not even 2 full matches played

Yes, but what he did against City was impressive in only his 2nd game. Zinny is our only liability defensively when he plays.

Liverpool keeping the pressure on. We need to take a full three from the Hammers.

shite defending. That ball crossed the byline too

I really like Trossard but I swear every fricking time he starts, he can't control a ball in the first half, ever.
He's had 4 loose touches already and it's been 20 minutes.

Embarrassing from West Ham, sitting everyone back from the opening kickoff.

I legit consider replacing Trossard with ESR at half time.
Not good enough today

Ball was definitely out. And agreed that Trossard is much better as a sub.
