Embarrassing from West Ham, sitting everyone back from the opening kickoff.
That’s been their MO under Moyes. They regularly lose the possession percentage battle to the tune of 60, 70, and 80% and then rely on the counter. It gets even worse when playing a team on top of the table. It can be a frustrating team to follow but they’ve gotten decent results with it.

With 10 behind the ball here, I struggle to see how we will come back and win this, let alone score an equalizer
We have got to do a better job of counterpressing and immediately counterattacking. fricking sucks Martinelli, Trossard, and Saka to an extent are out of form.
We need ESR's one-two's and combination play badly IMO

Honestly, I think that in the final 3rd, that was fricking embarrassing from everyone maybe with the exception of Saka.
Trossard and Odegaard with loose touches every fricking where. Martinelli non existent and in his own head. Saka decent but he's capable of much more.
We desperately need a change at the half. Yank Trossard out of this, put Jorginho in or ESR and depending on either of those two, push Rice forward.
Infuriating.

We have been fricking garbage in their box. Holy frick.
The overthinking, the slipping, the horrendous decision making.
This is an AWFUL result.

Nothing you can do about that perfect header. West Ham live for those set pieces and corners.

We get scored on a lot from crosses and corners. Thought that was the gks specialty?
Posted on 12/28/23 at 3:35 pm to dgnx6
You really blaming the gk on that one? How about you look at the attack that has been dreadful.

Oh that's right Raya is responsible for the fricking horrendous man marking in the box and the final 3rd execution tonight.
That's 100% on Raya.
frick off man.
We have been fricking woeful in the final 3rd. All of them. Jesus, Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli, Trossard. All fricking 5 of them.

Eh its unrealistic to expect the keeper to come out for that cross, think arsenal just lack a lot of size in the box apart from Saliba and Gabriel.

His broken record goalkeeper shtick is old

Sara, Martinelli and GJ have done nothing in the game. We desperately need a striker to have a chance.

No I’m fricking with bottom because everything he said this guy was better at, I don’t see it.
And if you think he covered himself in glory in that first goal, I don’t know what you are watching.
He doesn’t command the box.
Also you aren’t scoring every game. Keeper will have to save your bacon even in games you score. Like the Liverpool game last year.

Arteta doesn’t think so. He was mad at the fans. Not his player continuing to misplace passes.

We are getting fricking beat bad here because of a shitty attack and all you can think about is Ramsdale and Raya. Just fricking go away man.
I struggle to think of any worse games Saka has had for Arsenal than this one. He's been terrible.

ESR for Trossard 30 minutes too late

Just bad. We can’t score. Who cares if we dominate games, when they have 2 shots on target and two goals.
West Ham have out number lately.

For the things at stake, I think this is one of our more embarrassing performances since the start of the All or Nothing 21-22 season

Agree 100% he almost immediately created chances. We just can’t hit the side of the barn today. Really really disappointing lose at home
