Matt Macey ... Does this mean that Ospina is def on the way out?
Depends on how much you believe the idea of him picking up an injury in training

Man U, City, Spurs all dropping points. Arsenal winning all the way to the 90th minute, and then....
Just got to hope these dropped points don't cost them in the end.

For the second year in a row too. Winning that game after being down 2-1 and them being all over us would have been really big. Now we get stoke away and Chelsea and history should obviously tell us neither will be easy

So how did we look today? I had to miss the game.
Gave up the equalizer in the 90th minute?
Argh.

At first pool looked like they would run away with it. Should have held on though. Entertaining game, but can't see it out is still frustrating.

Def should have won. These are the games we need to keep the its instead of dropping them.

Outside of our abysmal goalkeeper we were by far the better team. Bias may be taking its place, but I wouldn't say you "definitely" should have won. We were the better in almost every stat.

Lighten up, Francis. When your team is up in extra time and the other team's approach is to just launch balls in the box and hope a bounce goes your way, you feel like you gave it away.

Haha, lighten up? I thought I was overly calm and respectful in my post. I'm in a terrific mood, in no way upset. I'm sorry you jumped to that conclusion.
Regardless, if the other team is packing 10 men behind the ball the obvious solution is to play more directly. There was nothing about the ball "bouncing" our way. We put an English 9 in to head the ball down to MF runners. He did that. We scored.
I apologize for voicing my casual opinion.

I apologize if my light hearted reference came off incorrectly. I just took your response in the Arsenal thread as a sort of "nah-ah, we were better in the tie".

Haha no worries. My bad if I came off that way. I should take this opportunity to remind the board that I've always been a closet Arsenal fan. Part of what was so great about today was not only our performance after Hampocalypse 2015, but also that Arsenal are top of the league. If LFC aren't winning it all (which is literally every year) I'm casually pulling for Arsenal.

I can confirm Bleed's affections towards Arsenal. He has I heart Wenger bumper sticker on his vehicle.

Delete that post. I don't want that becoming public.

Elneny to be in the squad for the weekend, could start against stoke.
Welbeck 2-3 weeks away
Sanchez is fit but wenger might not risk him against stoke
Also said he couldn't find a striker better than Welbeck in January so sounds like we're definitely done with signings

I'm pretty okay with the squad depth we have. Wonder what we'll do with Debuchy. Assuming he's gone, this isn't bad.
GK: Cech, Opsina
RB: Bellerin, Chambers, Flam in a pinch, possibly Gabriel
CB: Per, Kosc, Gabriel, Chambers, Monreal in a pinch
LB: Monreal, Gibbs
CM: Ozil, Ramsey, Elneny, Arteta, Flam, Ox, Rosicky (back in full training), Iwobi
LW/RW/FWD: Giroud, Alexis, Walcott, Campbell, Ox, Rosicky, Ramsey, Gibbs in a pinch
Wilshere, Welbeck, and Coq are apparently training, as well, and will be back by February.
That's title-winning depth. Maybe slightly thin up top if Giroud goes down, but I have faith in a healthy Welbeck, and we saw we can be very dangerous with Walcott up top.
