That is a very strong starting 11.

Not a bad bench either.

Yup. They are 9 deep at 5 midfield positions with experienced veterans.

The Striker position is still my biggest worry. That and center back depth.

Its funny watching fans of the other top EPL teams, especially tottenham and Man U, try and minimize the signing by saying shite about how he doesn't help our defensive frailties. The same defense that was second best in the epl last year and was the only team to shut out Bayern at home all season? Straw grasping at its finest

Now we're talking.

Too bad we couldn't have had a couple more signings of this calibre this summer.

I woke up and Arsenal still bought özil. I'm still shocked. we bought the best no. 10 in the world.

we were solid all around the pitch. what we really needed was game changing talent and we got it. I've wanted özil for awhile and now we have him. hopefully he can lead us into a new golden age of football under Arsene. we still have a lot of money and will have even more when new endorsement deals kick in next year. this could be the beginning of something very, very good.

Happy for you guys. I both hate and love the fact that he'll be playing in the prem. Hopefully he knocks up some English bird and she's due the week of Liverpool/Arsenal so I can enjoy watching him 100% of the time he plays.

I really think real life transfers follow my FIFA transfers. I remember the first time I played a season, I bought Raul Mireles (sp?) for Liverpool and later that year he was bought. With the most recent game, I bought Ozil as manager for Arsenal. Guys, get ready, because Di Maria, Balotelli, and Isco are soon to follow.
