I was in the student section. It's pretty sad how things have changed from just a couple years ago.
I was disappointed, not that we weren't loud, but that we weren't [i]constantly[/i] loud. We used to be loud throughout a play and into the next one. You don't get that anymore.

We should be okay as long as Deuce can slip some balls through when Essien and another CB close him down. Ghana continue to take the risks in defense and eventually they don't pay off.

I don't even see Landon not being selected as a surprise. He was, by his own fault, not a part of qualifying. He has been out of shape and Jurgan has repeaditly said fitness was a priority. More than likely LD showed up fat and rusty and Jurgan wasn't going to entertain that.

He was gassed, went down after a challenge, and reacted to the ball coming back. Robben was, along with Hummels, the best player on the pitch today. He worked his arse off and deserves some credit. Even from those that do not like him. ...

Benzema seemed to have locked down his role in the last 4 or 5 months. Giroud has been out of form and Remy is...well Remy.
They will have one the most balanced and talented midfields at the tournament and a very solid back line. The ingredients are there for a deep run but they can't be getting...

Digne is the heir apparent on the left and has IMO surpassed what Evra offers. He is inexperienced but very good. No telling how he will perform on the big stage though.
More than likely we will see Valbuena on the right, with Debuchy overlapping on the outside. France is a team I think will do ...
