Yep, it's a good thing we get them right off the bat because that feels like a squad where it may take a match or two for them to put it together.

Is this going to be the norm or is it just a result of covid or the World Cup throwing the schedule out of whack?

No it’s not the norm. Nations League is usually wrap around schedule. So 2023-2024 will have quarter finals in November 2023 and semis/finals in March 2024.

That’s how first iteration was and subsequent will be. This got thrown off because of November Qatar World Cup. So quarters were in March and now semi/finals in June.

Canada looks like a team that left off their four best attacking players.

Wow. Canada got fricked. Clear foul in the box but the ref cancels his own penalty!

ETA: Soccer gods took care of it!

Mexico finally scores after peppering Haiti all first half.

This team looks really motivated, they could cause our B/C team trouble.

Honestly, this Mexico squad could beat us 2-0 and I wouldn't give a frick, they know what happened when both full strength sides met.

It's the FIFA rankings. They are completely useless.

Yep, looks like their tournament is over. Wonder how many of them will defect after the game?

Home game for Guatemala in Houston. Canada might wilt in that heat!
