You can't negotiate with someone you don't Trust. Do you keep up with current events? This is the 3rd time Zelensky refused to sign the Deal. Bessent in Ukraine he disrespected, Vance in Munich he disrespected. Trump/Vance in the oval office he disrespected. He never had any intention of signing that deal. You can't negotiate with someone you can't trust and that disrespects you. Ironically Lindsey Graham is spot on with the Zelensky situation. He needs to resign, you can't do Business with him

I don't disagree with where you are coming from John.
The levels of BS from Z during that meeting should have had a man thrown out of the room.
But let's look at what else happened.
Z was escorted out of the white house. In essence, kicked out. The meal that was going to be shared with Z was given to news staff. And the white house is refusing to reimburse Ukraine for the expenses of his trip.
On the global stage, this is saying quite, quite a bit.
On the global stage however, calling for a ruler to step down, over something such as a slight of etiquette, while greatly offensive to us, would appear quite petty on the world stage. Like a petulant child. Beneath this country's dignity.
But let's add in the other factors. Yeah, Trump did say that Z could come back. But the factors after the meeting say what Trump can't say on camera.
You can come back. On your knees. Like the dog you are.
