And what the frick does a fast food worker know about margins and other related operating expenses?
Should be pretty easy to figure out they advertise their qsr franchise margins at 6-9% and how much a franchisee could potentially earn in revenue at their place of business and take home.....

Well, a business needs to turn a profit. 6-9% isn't much considering the risk, capital investment and such. I don't see where that leaves much to increase salaries.

AI says: Zaxby's starting wages for entry-level positions, like cashiers or customer service associates, can vary, but generally start around $10 to $13 per hour.

So if it is so easy to figure out that an entry level fast worker could do it, show us the math - how many worker-hours in a quarter? How many below $25/hr? Oh, and the ones earning $25/hr will expect a raise.

At any rate - a price is not determined by what one can afford, it is determined by supply demand. If you are a professional, and buy a Zaxby's meal once per week, I'd imagine you could 'afford' to pay $100 for that $15 meal. But you don't. Why not, you can 'afford' it?

Restaurant margins are notoriously thin, but hey, let’s pay idiots $25 and hour.

TBH $25 and hour ain't that much anymore. That's how expensive things are

And therein lies the problem. If you keep mandating the bottom get paid more to do menial jobs it raises the labor rate of skilled/professional labor and in doing so everything costs more, thus negating the “benefit” of the higher income.

6-9% is a low margin with the headaches and risks they have to face. Also add the buy in for a franchise, then the capital costs to build the building.

Could take that same sum of money and invest and get similar returns with less headaches……..

Labor is like 40% of fast food operating costs. Double that and those margins go away

The intellectually challenged aren’t smart enough to understand that. All caught up in their meaningless feelings. You know, pussies.

Has Zaxby’s management been shooting and/or pistol whipping their employees?

I'm not asking for government intervention.
Labor of a business has a right to organize. The owner can simply fire them for cause and hire new employees or negotiate with them.
