I think the biggest problem is inflicting the amount of force necessary to remove the IRGC would result in substantial civilian casualties.
Agree. And casualties of our own people. And we don't know what offensive capabilities they still have to hurl at Israel and other GCC interests. We don't really know what their proxies have left in the tank either. A serious escalation could cause chaos in the region that the west might not be ready to endure. It would obviously be more consequential to the region but it will hit home even more than it already has. This whole thing I think was a terrible idea. But I respect that you have enough humanity to consider civilian casualties unlike the few weirdos that were obsessed with us destroying all civilian infrastructure. That won't end well for anyone in the conflict.

Please explain how he was “misled” by Israel.
Their intel directly contradicted what ours said per Joe Kent and Tulsi Gabbard after the first round of strikes.

I did support Trump. Now I’m unsure. We should just take our military out of the ME, and tell the rest of the world you deal with it. What is the point of being there at this point. Let Israel and Iran’s neighbors handle it
It’s almost like they should be focused on the super intelligence that’s going to massively shrink white collar work right after letting 20-30 million blue collar workers invade our country

Bibi was in the situation room. I mean what more does anyone need to know. He should never have been allowed in there. Trump either somehow sneaks out of this or is the most useless idiot ever.

He said in the first few minutes here they were kind of frozen out this time, much different than last year.

I was watching the panel segment on Special Report the other day. During that segment someone claimed that according to the rumor mill we are extremely low on interceptors missiles right now. That is why Saudi Arabia and a few others started pushing for Trump to negotiate. Don’t know how true that is but it would explain a whole lot.
We were F’ing low before we got into this thanks to the midget actor laundering money in Ukraine for the deep state.
We didn’t have the munitions to get into a full scale engagement and all the generals told him so before we got started with Iran but he was on a heater after Venezuela and couldn’t resist the decapitation gambit.

Axios talked to three different sources and different sources hear and talked about different parts of the call. Not really hard to understand

And the IAEA report that stated Iran eas at 60% enrichment, therefore theoretically a couple weeks away from 90% enrichment?

Go argue with our entire intelligence apparatus after the first round of strikes.

We damaged their facilities, but the uranium remained.
Iran was working towards nukes previously and would continue doing so. It was just a matter of time.

a nation rarely if ever wins a kinetic war without completely destroying their opponents military capabilities while crushing the spirit of the government and the general population.
And the problem with Iran is a sizable amount of the general population is on our side, and some of the initial rhetoric from the Trump admin was liberation. There’s just no room for collateral damage in Iran.
The other option is to choke off the Islamic Regime's economy and its ability to make war. The US could bite the bullet and completely shut down Strait of Hormuz for a few months and see how long the Islamic Regime can keep street level Iranians pacified with dwindling economic conditions and growing food shortages. Another option is to strategically cripple some of Iran's critical infrastructure and see how that affects public sentiment.
The hardcore and sobering truth is were in it now, we better have an outcome that unequivocally says the US was the victor. I can say with 100% certainty, the Red/Green Alliance and the Islamic Regime will be claiming victory if the Islamic Regime in its current iteration is left intact.

I wish we would cut them off. I think the real ones understand the Samson Plan is the root cause of why we cannot trust the Israelis. That and the spying and lobbying.

I didn't sayninwas arguing with anything.
I asked why the IAEA report was being ignored.
My takeaway from Gabbards testimony (due to the phrasing of the questions) was correct:
Iran was not CURRENTLY building a nuclear weapon BECAUSE we destroyed their facilities.
And since that testimony, satellites have detected activity around those sites.
Do you believe that the IAEA report was right, and Iran had achieved 60% enrichment?
If so, then you have to believe they're shooting for a nuke (i guess they could be building a nuclear sub fleet.)
