Obviously there are sooooo many things more important, but it's not getting fixed. We constantly have road blocks that seem so odd.
Imo I think many think there is hope that this can take out enough of the people holding up the road blocks, and if so it'll finally give the good people the ability to fix what is needed.
It's a long shot bet, but not sure there's anything else. If it turns out it does nothing, then reality sets in that the current status quo is here to stay with nothing that is going to shake it up.
