Yet another insufferable soy boy loser cosplaying as a tough guy from his mother's basement. Sure, I believe he has a real penchant for violence, but it's punching Tesla-driving 61 y/o grandma's, stealing a 13 y/o teen's MAGA hat or cowardly knifing a Tesla tire in a Piggly Wiggly parking lot.

It is, but it's a two-edged sword. If you're dealing with something with a functional brain and bad intentions that happens to be observing and assessing before making their move, the first person they're going to take out is the one with the gun.
There are instances when I open carry, but 99% of the time I conceal. I'd rather someone have to profile me and postulate a hypothesis as to whether or not I'm strapped.

It must be an algorithm thing, but I've been getting these for a few months now as suggested Facebook reels. There's a huge "I'm a badass" vibe to the videos and the guys in the comments are triggered over anyone who doesn't agree that it's the best job ever

You're correct, but I don't worry about the thugs. They're easy to profile and avoid. I worry about the intelligent, observant criminals. I'm a pretty big dude anyway and I maintain an extremely low profile so I'm not exactly a prime target for your average thug.
I will state that I do believe in both open and concealed carry. Everyone should get properly trained and proficient with a pistol and take it with them everywhere. I've got no problem with anyone exercising their 2A/permit right. I just have my personal preference for my own reasons. Nothing more.
