My daughter was quarantined three times last year. One of them she actually had Covid (the last time). One other time she was actually exposed to Covid. It’s all dumb.

The quarantining due to exposure is one of the dumbest things imaginable right now.

Ok you dumb motherf*ckers, here goes.

You should’ve stopped right here. Most of this board has their head too far up their own arse to see the truth, and they still think covid is fake or it’s some kind of conspiracy to make us wear a mask or whatever asinine theory they saw from CrackPotPeter on Bitchute.

Those same idiots clearly don’t work in the hospital. For two weeks now it’s been a mess. ICUs are maxed, step-down floors are managing unstable patients beyond their capabilities. ERs are log-jammed because half the rooms have been taken over by the ICU. And the people that are the quickest to deny there is a problem are too dumb to see the big picture and realize they are the one’s dying from it.

You retards are so worried about the democratics/socialist getting absolute power, the outspoken ones talk all tough about fighting it. All the while the dems don’t have to lift a finger because covid is doing all their dirty work and taking out all the unvaccinated and anti-mask Republicans who still think it’s a great idea to gather in large groups, make poor decisions like going to church when they have the sniffles and think it’s just a cold, hug on everyone, and then find out they have covid and just blasted half the congregation with it.

So covid doesn’t kill everyone. Just a small few. But what about that expensive 5 day hospital stay with a ER visit, radiology read, days worth of lab reads, missed work, long lasting lung, heart and kidney damage that you will undoubtedly pay for in the years to come? There’s a lot people don’t think about with this until it happens. But then it’s too late.

Be smart people, avoid large groups until this wave goes down and if you feel like you might be getting sick just assume it’s covid until proven otherwise and try not to spread it.

I live in MS it’s great being able to live life like a normal person without many Karen’s. If I get Covid so be it but so far so good I will take my chances and enjoy my freedom down in gods country among these pines.

It’s not Mississippi related but I have a family member who works at a hospital in Florida and obviously they get updates every day based on what’s happening in the hospital and, he said they’re having to move people with cancer etc. out of the hospital to make room for Covid patients and that two of their trauma warts have been turned into Covid patient areas and that they are very close to the breaking point he’s located near Tampa. He got a text the other day and it was something like 231/250 ICU filled with Covid , 36 on ventilators, and I can’t remember the other stats that he said either way it’s not good I don’t know if he works at a big hospital or not.

I don’t want to belittle any of these people it’s their right to believe what they want. With that being said I have family members who work in hospitals and I know at least at their hospital what the numbers are, and the numbers are not good I don’t know about the rest of the country but I don’t think that these people would be lying about it because I’ve seen it with my own eyes and I know that I’ve had family members escorted into their hospitals by police because they had to implement a no visitor rule because the hospital is so full and the family members are so angry that they can’t visit.

Its killing black people and city dwellers en masse...

Are you blind? Mississippi is the blackest state...it's nailing the black urban areas.

It's not attacking no-mask whitey or unvaxxed.

By population where the numbers aren't fudged, the vax/unvax ICU numbers are the same as the population.
Check Iceland, Ireland, Israel, etc.

You're just saying stupid shite to hear yourself speak.

If they have a 250 bed icu I’d say it’s a big hospital.

Easy, Ivermectin protocol or HCQ protocol. Instead, they decide to NOT use these tools. Doctors around the world claim that the efficacy of these treatments is near 90% at preventing hospitalizations. But Nooooo... we have to push the vaccine with it's lack of ability to even stave off infection.

Thomas Dobbs and the MSDH have blood on their hands. It's disgusting.

To be fair, the state has elected 50 Democratic governors and only 7 Republican governors in its state history.

No. It wasn't 47 per day. They added death cert cases that they didn't even know about as "new" deaths. Some, as I had previously pointed out last week, from December 2020 were added to the totals in late July and early August. The reason for the hospital shortage was due to 2,000 nurses quitting, some because of mandates.

bullshite. That is the 7 day moving average that is on the MSDH website.

Now someone said MSDH reported 67 deaths today. That is somewhat misleading but the media makes it seem as if that many people died in one day Here is what MSDH reported:

quote:

29 deaths occurred between August 11 and August 16 in the counties below:....

38 deaths occurred between August 2 and August 13, identified from death certificate reports.

So 29 deaths occurred over a 5 day period. That's five deaths per day. Add them to the daily average for those dates and we are running at 12-17 per day.

38/9= a little over four so add four to the daily average for those dates.

That means we are way under the daily average of deaths at similar points in the earlier surges. Way under.

Can anybody point me to ICU capacity stats from the past decade? I’m starting to think the capacities are not statistically significant excess rates than normal over a longer period. Have we ever had the ability to track that pre covid or even cared to?

I’m just relaying what I see every day in the hospital with my own eyes. People from every corner of the state. Making unfortunate decisions in the middle of pandemic. Going to large events, not distancing or wearing masks, not getting the vaccine if they are at risk, and then unfortunately paying for it in multiple ways. It’s just not worth it. Be sensible right now. It will eventually get better. Don’t help make it worse.

It has never been about the truth or honest facts. If it was, everyone's PCP would prescribe Ivermectin the first day they test positive. It would wipe out this virus and the spread would cease. Tests show Ivermectin can help a person no longer be positive in as little as 2 days. How is that for stopping the spread?

The MSM wants everyone to get the vax. It is sad to see an entire industry of such ignorant people.
