He was incredibly wrong on both mental health and immigration issues. Incredibly wrong.

Does not exist in the USA. Which is good. Reagan set the tone for evacuation of mental hospitals as well as amnesty. That’s the facts.

New gun buyers streaming into the USA by the thousands every day. WTF is “gun control”?

You talking muzzle control?? That would amount to many more dead people.

Wrong, lib lawyers were suing mental hospitals for incarcerating the mentally dangerous against their will. They were winning the lawsuits, Reagan's DOJ had no choice.

The people in California sure do seem to have been perfectly happy with the way it's been going for the last 30 years or so.

If I remember correctly Congress promised immigration reform if Reagan would let the then current bunch of illegals stay. Of course, Congress reneged on their promise.

Lesson learned - Congressional promises are worthless. He should have made them pass reforms first.

You'll get down votes from the duller minds on here, but you are exactly correct.

He could have at least delayed it.

I don’t have a problem disagreeing with a politician I voted for.

Unlike some people who can never say a negative thing about “their party”.

Yes he did and it was popular at the time. It was in response to the Black Panthers and other black "radicals" who were asserting that right in the late 60s. The white people in LA and SF were threatened by it....so the Assembly voted to outlaw it and Reagan signed the law.

Like a lot of gun control laws in history, it was aimed at blacks.

Reagan left Cali in 1975. So your on here telling us that there were no policy changes for the last 48 years that have helped turn California into a third world shithole?

Either you read that bullshite on DailyKos or from a ultra left moonbat professor in college.

Both ar notorious for making shite up that Gen Z ats like Flinstone vitamins

I don't think immigration is the problem.
