You are on the board of an underperforming top tier Fortune 500 company. Who do you pick?

One guy is older had a decent performance before but got crossways with the board and was fired. Since then he’s stayed unemployed chilling on his severance and occasionally likes to show up and chime in at shareholder meetings that he should still be CEO

OR

The up and coming young buck who is running a smaller company at a lower tier in the F500 but in the same sector. They are over performing and experiencing significant growth.

I think the choice is obvious

There’s no wall, the swamp won and we still have supply and labor issues that started due to lockdown and Covid policies from his administration.

Decent is the more appropriate adjective

That is. If this was an analogy for trump. Which it’s not

So, a moocher who drags out his free ride?

A young, ambitious guy who has a record of bringing up an underdog and kicking arse, and will probably start out at a lower salary?

If not an analogy, you're asking for some "closure sex" from an old, boring ex, or some hot passionate sex from a chick who might have herpes

See recent SC cases, those alone exceed "decent".

The older guy had a great performance in spite of the board trying to sabotage his entire tenure.
