Agree with everything you are saying except the paid part. I think the players should be paid for performance. I also believe they have the right to protest; However, there is a time and place to do that. A football game where people are trying to “get away from the bullshite” isn’t one of them. Just the cost of TAF, season tix, parking, food and travel can easily get to $10K - $15.
If LSU decides they can’t reign in the bullshite, then I too can take my proverbial ball and go home. $15K/year can be used to fund other types of events besides football.

American sports are a vehicle for white-guilt and self-loathing. And the universities we cheer on every Saturday are breeding grounds for the authoritarian SJW movement. We should abandon both.

The woke players and coaches should crawl on their knees from the locker room, through the goal post, across the field to the side line. Anything less is just being lazy.

On the one hand, I want university sports to do the right thing and stay TF out of politics.
On the other hand, however, I want them to go all in on this and have zero butts in the seats and free up my Saturdays while allowing them to expose their lunacy. I’m pushing for the latter.

There are many other options that will at least let me keep money in my pocket, if not make money by selling my tickets.
For example, I'd like to re-learn the fundamentals of investing so I can take the money I get from selling tickets and try to make money from it.

Even though demand in the stadium will be low because of people like us who stay home, you won’t be able to tell because of the limited number of seats due to China Flu policies. It will be touted as a full stadium. The people in the stands will all be the ones who would not have boycotted anyway. I predict no boos and no outrage at all the kneeling. This will be interpreted by the announcers and media that everyone supports the BLM movement and all the other bs that’s going on.

Many players kneel in prayer when they come onto the field. That doesn’t bother me as much as it does during the anthem.
That said, no NFL for me this year. And fans at a college game should collectively turn their backs on any “political statement”.
