The solution is simple.
When the team kneels the fans must boo!
Reclaim the institution as the paying donating customer!
Don’t be a racist kneeler!
All lives Matter.

Have to remember that these events are purposeful distractions (benefiting the state)
Bread and circuses (gladiator games, always been around)
It does not mean that it can’t be enjoyed, it needs to be kept in proper perspective. The minute we worship it, it becomes problematic (mammon/money follows the same rules)
I can’t understand why we can’t emphasize a moment of silence for personal intentions prior to the anthem. Hell, they have taken prayer out of process already. Why not carve out a moment of silence where intentions are read off including for “black lives”. Everyone can take a knee if they desire (while personal intentions are directed wherever the individual wants it to be). If TPA had a son playing, I would advise him to use the time for reflection /prayers (including directing this to teammates of color)
Perception/intentions can overcome any situation (and it is truly the only thing YOU can control).
That said, keep faith (much will play out/be revealed)

Players who don’t kneel, if any, will be a very small minority this season. They will most definitely get scorched for doing that. I predict stadiums across the country will have a lack of fans like never before. I hope it looks like a Joe Biden rally.

Ironically, covid-19 may fix this problem. LOL

Any conservative who watches the NFL, attends games or buys memorabilia is part of the problem and should be ashamed. Don’t come on here complaining about the knee crap when you’re supporting the League.

The amount of money universities will lose will be insane.
Who knows, maybe some FCS or small FBS schools will shut down their football program altogether.

I've grown tired of college sports. It's just one school's hired guns playing another's. These aren't real students playing each other. What is the point?

Kind of how I feel. Football is basically 5-6 superteams.
I will say that I saw a good sign in the comments section of a Yahoo article about how social justice is coming to college sports. Nearly every post was a person saying, keep this out of sports. I'm sure we'll all eat up college football and NFL when the time comes, but I think they will lose some support if it's nonstop politics.

I agree with a lot of the concern players are voicing and I support their freedom to voice them.
I hate everything about the commercialization and politicization of these movements by colleges and professional leagues and the nonstop pandering to social media extremism by the aforementioned and in addition and most extremely by the media that covers them.
I have basically abandoned all sports except Florida Gators college football, and even then, basically only the product on the field.
I don't need tax-exempt monopolies and their corporate Johns telling me what and when to think.

College players are not on the field for the National anthem

I was more referring to college football. I didn't watch the NFL anyway.

Come on man. It's hunting season. I will be hunting deer, ducks, etc. And no, I don't like that duck meat.

Won't know. Already clearing the NFL off my viewing schedule. Will expect 842 threads here on opening day describing the cuck show.

Pull the cable plug and don't bother with the rabbit ears...that shite is worse than cable. Best thing I ever did. Sports are a waste of time anyway. So much you can do in the time you spend sitting on your arse watching sweaty men tackle each other in tight pants while they kneel. You get the picture...now ask yourself...'why am I watching this?!'
Posted on 6/14/20 at 11:32 am to bamarep
i wont go to any games, but i'll watch opening weekend and see what happens. may not make it to kickoff.
like you said, its not important.

And I won’t watch a second of it.
