Just willy-nilly overturning Roe-vs-Wade would be akin to overturning the 2nd ammendment.

It's such a hotly contested subject that, no matter if the judges are right or wrong (legally speaking), this type of change would need to be absolutely bullet proof to avoid massive upheaval.

Then to have that decision leaked to the press leads me to believe there is an agenda of which we are not aware. This smells of a chess match.

What is happening that would benefit from this type distraction?

Is a constitutional right.

See that bold part? It means a previous court decision.

So, in your mind, overturning a bad decision made by the Supreme Court would be equal to overturning a freedom our ancestors fought against oppression to give to you?

Oh I don’t know. Maybe gas prices, runaway inflation just to name two things off of the top of my head. If anyone is benefiting it’s the Libtard’s trying to save face before the midterms. And no it’s nothing like overturning the 2nd amendment because the 2nd amendment is in the constitution

Ok, so I admit that didn't come across as I intended.

It was an exaggeration of what the reaction would be. I hate when I do that because the original message is lost.

How dare SCOTUS ever overturn itself!
Oh except for those cases we didn’t like, like Plessy v Ferguson. That was ok. But not this time. This. Is. Not. Ok.

No, your original message is retarded. Your message indicates that we should not follow the Constitution because some people will be upset.

Yeah, let's see, the due process clause speaks of a right to life and the second amendment guarantees a right to bear arms. So yeah, we have to have abortion and we can't have guns. Got it!

I thought maybe you were trolling leftists with this start, but unfortunately, no. Your beginning premise is ignorant.

The 2A is in the Bill of Rights, which were the first 10 amendments to the Constitution, and were absolutely necessary if the Constitution was ever going to be ratified.

Roe is an entirely fabricated right by SC justices, with absolutely no Constitutional basis.

Basically, changing this back to a state right to legislate vs a federal right.

Let each state decide what is right for its citizens.
