Don't worry, the useful idiots will be along shortly to explain to us how Iran's fleet of fishing boats is out there controlling The SOH and backing down the US Navy.

I love how they hang on every word that comes out of Iranian news.

Then Trump nukes all the disinformation with a post on Truth Social.

Why not describe what they're actually doing correctly?

Nobody with any logic is arguing they're "backing down" the US Navy as in a direct conflict.

How much commercial traffic is getting through now compared to January 2026?

The missile threat is real enough that the insurance carriers wont allow their ships through the strait which means that whatever the actual risk the energy markets cant stabilize until that changes.

Correct.

Iran has shown they can shut down the SOH.

Could the US? Sure, but that's not really relevant.

"Can the US stop Iran from shutting down the SOH?" is the relevant question, and the answer so far is "No".

Of course the US can but they want so many to believe they can not.

Iran will not give up control and or interrupting ship traffic on the SOH.

Iran will not release the uranium.

Iran continues to attack the US Navy.

How do we ever make a deal?

This is retarded. No one has said that they can “back down the U.S. Navy”. But we have stats on how many ships move through the Strait each day.

Cite to where I’ve said this?

By the way, what high-level math concept do you need help with today? Adding double digit numbers? Averages threw you for a loop last week, so I don’t want to put too much pressure on you.

Im not sure, but I seem to recall we once had a deal involving a lot of nations where Iran agreed to IAEA inspections while reducing its uranium stockpile and keeping enrichment down below 4%.

Whatever happened to that deal?

The financial benefactors of military excursions. Once the Iranian leverage is removed, such excursions become far less frequent.
