People weren’t paying attention and the media was only worried about social issues.
With the help of alternative media they are being exposed more and more.

Exposed to who?
The people watching the alternate media that's doing the "exposing" already hate all of these "RINO's" anyway.

Exactly
We saw 8 Republicans tear down the system.
Now we are seeing various candidates trying to put Humpty Dumpty back together. So far they are not able to do anything in unison.
Gaetz exposed nothing, but the weaknesses in the Republican Party and he isn’t doing anything to patch things up.
We are no nearer getting votes in individual items in the budget. We are no closer to cutting spending. But we are closer to proving yo the American voter that the Republicans can’t work together much less with the opposition to improve things in our country.

Gaetz is a GOAT. There aren’t many of them.
You've done it now. You've caused the RINO supporters on this forum to involuntarily curse and foam from the mouth.

Goetz has assured 4 more years of Democratic rule possibly President and both the House and Senate.
This fear and wringing of hands is why Repubs are always losing even when they win.

Jim Jordan was a suitable replacement and so place the blame in the right place with the 20 Repub (Democrats) holdouts.

The minute McCarthy was ousted from the Speaker role Gaetz said he would support Scalise or Jordan for new speaker. We are in the process of getting a new speaker. I think the issue is, you just don't like the process, right?
History:
It took 36 vote rounds for Jefferson to become the 3rd President. We can survive some votes for Speaker

This, democracy is messy, if it isnt (as it has not been since we decided not to have a line item budget decades ago) well there is no need to check your wallet because it is already gone

How can Gaetz chose a speaker before McCarthy reneged on his promises? Is he a dictator or something?
All this rhetoric about the house is in shambles, the republicans are in shambles, bah humbug.

Or McCarthy should have never agreed in the first place to the stipulations
And thus the problem.
McCarthy agreed to stipulations specifically because a similar fight was ongoing for the first Speaker vote of this Congress. Making the agreement got him the job.
Problem is that not living up to his end meant that Gaetz had the ability to end McCarthy’s speakership and McCarthy pretty much told him “bring it.”

And the tiebreaker for that vote that made Jefferson president and Burr VP later got shot and killed by Burr.

The stiff-necked, single mindedness of a hand full of House members has put the party and country in a huge mess.
One must be stupid, inexperienced, or both not to realize that a positive conclusion must be arranged BEFORE such a bridge-burning act is undertaken!
This is the type of ridiculous crap you'd expect from "The Squad"

The whole notion of a "uniparty" is pure bullshite...actually it's mindless stupidity. One party is the party of groomers and baby killers. The other party isn't.
Uniparty my arse.

Wouldn’t you agree that Gaetz at least exposed ...
- Democrats goose step in line better than Republicans
- that Democrats can more effectively F-up our country than the Republicans.
- so many "independent thinkers" in the GOP make the GOP look like a hot mess, compared to the Dems, helping the GOP to likely lose ground in the minds of Independents.
- that the GOP will never effectively expose the crimes of Joe and his family, and, if they do, even more of the statute of limitations will have expired.
- that he is a self-grandizing politician without an actual plan.
- that the Democrat Party (possibly even brain-dead Biden) will win in 2024, irrespecitve of how badly the American people are stuggling under Bidenomics.

You were OK with what Republicans have been doing in Congress so far?
They could have also voted for Jordan. Why didn't they?
My congressman did and he originally supported McCarthy.
