Yes, but nothing productive came from it. No one's going to vote anyone out because everyone will have forgotten by the time the next election rolls around.
You can be sure, however, nothing like this will be allowed to happen again. I don't have a problem with what he did- it's the timing and lack of a solid plan. AF is in a worse position than before this happened

It’s being reported that after the failed third vote, there was a closed door meeting with a secret ballot to decide if Jordan should stay in it.
Jordan only got 86 votes. 112 votes against.

They could have left McCarthy alone. He is the only one that got over half the votes. They could have voted for Scalice and Jordan too. But not enough did.
I’m not for anybody, but I am for the Republican Party. I am for them to stick together around a good leader who can articulate a conservative message, sell that message to voters, and affecting changes in the way we do business.
It doesn’t appear we have a guy or gal that can do that in the committee room much less in the entire Congress.
