The economy would be shite either way.
Most of your property, possessions, and savings would be ‘redistributed’ either way.
The one benefit to Russian rule would be the eradication of SJWs and some dumbass social policies.

Progressive, only because the state murder rate would likely be lower. But definitely a case of none of the above.

If those are the only choices, I'll take Russian because at least you probably know where you stand and how to behave. With progressives you'll never know what their latest micro aggression is or if your behavior today will be good enough in 5 or 150 years.

Neither is an attractive option, but this points out a larger problem: nowhere to escape.
For more than 500 years now, if a person wanted to leave behind poor living conditions, the New World was there, or the U.S. specifically. We are the escape hatch. If the marxists ruin it, what do you do?
