use some Federal & State owned boat ramps that only accept cash. You write your name & info on an envelope, put the cash in the envelope, & drop it in a honor box secured by a small padlock.
Wow! That surprises me. And thanks for the only response that was not an idiotic ad hominem attack.
This kind of undermines, the thought that the federal government is trying to prevent us from using cash, doesn't it?

Thank God Pat Boone is fighting this plague.

What happens when they lose power or internet?
They take an impression of the credit card on carbon paper just like everyone used to do pre-internet and run the charges when the power/internet comes back up.
If they don't have a validator they just write the numbers down & do the same.

Not really.
The 5.5 million grant just hasn't been processed yet to install one credit card machine

We are heading to a one world monetary system.

Tell me you’ve never been to a national park without telling me. Small units like Fort Pulaski are funded through park fees from the larger national parks in their region. I don’t think you get the economics of the park system.

government agencies are `mandated` to accept treasury issued currency for debts charges and taxes, private business are not required to accept cash.

There isnt anyone around to take cash some of the time here. They have a kiosk in the parking lot, you pay there.

I know first hand, I worked at glacier national park recently for a couple of seasons in the backcountry permit office and we were not allowed to accept cash for camping fees.

"THIS NOTE IS LEGAL TENDER FOR ALL DEBTS PUBLIC AND PRIVATE" is written on ever bill.
Then too there is the civil rights side of the issue. Some people for whatever reason don't have plastic.

United States coins and currency (including Federal reserve notes and circulating notes of Federal reserve banks and national banks) are legal tender for all debts, public charges, taxes, and dues. Foreign gold or silver coins are not legal tender for debts.

This is a major issue that nobody especially under 30 wants to talk about.
I think this is really how buying and selling is banned (Revelation 13:17) for those following God, will be done.
BTW, how many of you believe the coin shortage during the pandemic? Did it make any sense to you? Is it still going on, or are their fewer coins now in circulation?

Simple , just drop a Jackson down in front of Ranger Dan and drive on.

Yep. How can a place that charges admission be expected to operate a cash register and make change? It's just ridiculous.

This policy is a relic from Covid days for “our protection”. You can’t even purchase a ticket into a high school or college ball game or get concessions without a credit card. And there’s usually a convenience fee attached to the already overpriced ticket. It’s pretty retarded. It’s easier to have your money extracted from you and ultimately tracked from place to place.

Though I don’t agree it plainly states this on the website.
If you have cash it should be accepted anywhere in the United States for any debt public or private.
