GOPe will always be more concerned about their own personal image and more worried about pleasing their complete ideological enemies than serving their own constituents. They are terrified of being called some sort of -isist because they allow themselves to be defined by their enemies and seek the approval of their direct opponents. Their mindset is, “Who cares if establishment republican x destroys the country? At least he wasn’t rude on twatter”.
Never apologize to hysterical libs. The only thing it does is prove they were justified in screeching about whatever it was and will just cause them to double down. Libs will never accept any apology as genuine, ever.
Every republican presidential nominee becomes the biggest -ists while they are running, until the next one runs, then the previous suddenly becomes retroactively “not so bad” or even good in comparison. It happened to bush, it happen to McCain, it happened to Romney. All were the great white war criminal, racist, sexist devils at one point.
Stop trying to gain the approval of your enemies. They will never accept you.
