Depends on the parent. My Italian mother raised me from 10 years old by herself. She made sure I was on the right path and respectful of others.

I can't. There's merit and logic in your assertion, reinforced by decades of empirical evidence and concrete data.

Black males make up roughly 6% of the US population. 1 in four black males have been convicted of a violent offense. Roughly half of all violent offenses in America are committed by black males. So roughly 1.5% of the US population is responsible for roughly half of the violent crime.

I'm just a lily-white descendant of Appalachian Irish coal miners. I cannot fix it. 75% of black men do not have violent offenses and are not criminals. They must step up to reform their communities and change their culture, and the rest of us need to support them. That's the only way things change.

Why not? According to you Confederacy apologists, slavery would've ended sooner rather than later, and the CW wasn't fought over slavery.

Could go further with that. Compare all rates of income, education and crime between black Americans (black, from the US) with African-Americans (from the countries of the sub-Saharan area, where poverty is real). One group is doing, for the most part, just fine. The other group is falling short. Lib progs don't bring that up.
