Actually, more than teens. Coming from Taylortown, LA on Hwy 527 to Haughton, LA we came across about 30 people, some kids but mostly adults and teenagers having a brawl in someone's front yard. They were beating on each other and running back and forth across the highway. We had to slow down and maneuverer to get by. It wasn't too scary, but my wife was worried they were going to try to block us.

It is an absolute shame what our government and society has created for us.

There's actually nothing more American than a teen rumble.

Accurate to some degree.

But the actual data (1 in 4 males by the age of 25 being convicted of a violent offense) shows unequivocally that a certain demographic is a much higher-propensity group.

The most dangerous animals in America are black males between the ages of 12 & 35.

You have never heard of Joe Delaney, the Chiefs star Running Back from Haughton who drowned trying to save three boys about 40 years ago?
It should be a movie.

Depends on the parent. My Italian mother raised me from 10 years old by herself. She made sure I was on the right path and respectful of others.

Crafty conclusion to qualify this post for the political board.

Go Knicks!

I disagree with you. That is just an excuse to cover for the thugs. I know one parent households and their children are roll models in the community

I can't. There's merit and logic in your assertion, reinforced by decades of empirical evidence and concrete data.

Black males make up roughly 6% of the US population. 1 in four black males have been convicted of a violent offense. Roughly half of all violent offenses in America are committed by black males. So roughly 1.5% of the US population is responsible for roughly half of the violent crime.

It's not rAciSm. It's not BiGoTrY. It's not cHeRrY PiCkiNg sTaTs. It's truth, and an uncomfortable conversation that needs to happen at the national level. I'm just a lily-white descendant of Appalachian Irish coal miners. I cannot fix it. 75% of black men do not have violent offenses and are not criminals. They must step up to reform their communities and change their culture, and the rest of us need to support them. That's the only way things change.

It was an outright brawl. Ain't nothing to take over and spoil along that route.

Why not? According to you Confederacy apologists, slavery would've ended sooner rather than later, and the CW wasn't fought over slavery.

Could go further with that. Compare all rates of income, education and crime between black Americans (black, from the US) with African-Americans (from the countries of the sub-Saharan area, where poverty is real). One group is doing, for the most part, just fine. The other group is falling short. Lib progs don't bring that up.

Of course. There are always those that rise above. But not all moms are equal either. The fact you know a few is called “anecdotal”.

Look at the the overall statistics.
