I have an AO Smith that is 22 years old. We built the house and that is what the plumbing contractor used. I had to replace an element a few months ago, but it still works good. That is just my experience.

One parent household will do that no matter the color of your skin.
Depends on the parent. My Italian mother raised me from 10 years old by herself. She made sure I was on the right path and respectful of others.
Back in 2001 I was in Cleveland for a 2 week project. My wife flew up the middle weekend and we went to "The Jake" to catch a game. It happened to be inter-league week so the Indians were playing the Reds. We sat in the left field bleachers about 6 rows up next to some college boys from Cincinnati. We bought them some beers and vice versa. Every inning Ken Griffey was in the outfield they would yell his name. I figured they were fans. Seventh inning rolls around and while yelling his name he finally turns around. All three dudes in unison yell "You suuuuck". I died laughing.
Anyway, it is a great ballpark and we had a lot of fun.

re: Prime rib roast or prime tenderloin?

I am a huge Prime Rib fan, but the last 2 Christmas's and this past Mother's Day I cooked a Prime Tenderloin and it was a huge hit. I just followed the Meat Church website's method. Smoked it, then finished on the grill.

Benjamin Franklin once said “ Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy”

My last 2 cars were 14 years. One was close to 300k and the other close to 250k. Got rid of both when they started giving me problems that were not worth fixing.

Smoked Chile Scalloped Sweet Potatoes
Ingredients:
2 cups heavy cream
1 heaping tablespoon chipotle pepper puree
3 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced 1/8-inch thick
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Whisk together cream and chipotle puree until smooth.
In a 9 by 9-inch casserole dish, arrange the potatoes in even layers. Drizzle with 3 tablespoons of the cream mixture and season with salt and pepper. Repeat with the remaining potatoes, cream, and salt and pepper to form 10 layers.
Cover and bake for 30 minutes, remove cover and continue baking for 45 minutes to 1hour, or until the cream has been absorbed and the potatoes are cooked through and the top is browned.
I have made this many times and my family loves it. I use a mandolin and add a little more chipotle because we like it a little spicy.

We normally do it the weekend after Thanksgiving, but my wife is having shoulder surgery on the 14th. She wants it up this weekend.

No. If you cannot afford what you have then you should not have more on the tax payer's dime.

re: Sage Sure Insurance? UPDATE page 3
Posted by billman on 7/1/25 at 4:10 pm to LSUFanHouston
Had Sage Sure for several years. Had hail damage to our roof and filed a claim. Their adjuster came out and walked the roof with our roofer and approved the claim that day. Paid the $32000 claim, but dropped us when then next renewal was due. Can’t blame them I guess.
