I will melt only if the pick votes with the left on key issues at SCOTUS. I only care that they vote consistent with strict-construction constitutional originalism and that they have enough life left in them to put forth that philosophy for many years.

It would be a hell of a head fake though. You know they are flipping through Barrett’s elementary school yearbook right now after hitting the high school and junior high.
If it is her..... there should be outdoor screens In Dade Co. FL showing the confirmation hearings along with the name and political affiliation of every person speaking on the committee at the time.

News says the inside scoop says Barrett, but he has an Atlanta campaign stop Friday, and is announcing the SCOTUS pick Saturday. Wondering if an extra passenger might be getting on the plane with him for the flight home.
