He has already mentioned he foresees a future where rockets are taking off and landing similar to airlines of today. He’s said that for years and years. While he has a history of over-promising in terms of timelines, that’s his plan. And he’s going to do it.

I think Elon is just living life to its fullest day by day, always thinking and dreaming of the next big thing/idea. I think he's a kid at heart and that's why he's still showing a lot of high energy for life and what lies ahead.
