There’s a kick arse strain of flu this year. The wife and I both had it and she was in bed for 3 days. Never had it that bad that I can remember.

Got nothing to do with the Covid shots.

Probably, but the lockdowns are a different story.

Life Spoiler: sometimes people get sick and just feel crummy instead of dying.

I just returned to this thread to see how the OP was doing. I see they tested POS for flu.

Then I saw all the weird downvotes and comments from people that live their god damned lives thinking they were right about Q. The storm is coming and they have told us this for 6 years; and some dumbass Q pusher will feed them more baloney.

What happened to the Supreme Court Case on J6 being accepted as heard or not being it? DISCOVERY? Or devolution?

Trump has a secret team at the military hospital only they know about.

Ya'll are so nuts you have no clue.

People that were wary about the covid vax are no disciples. No one thought fear would be used so wickedly for them to get power.

Some of ya'll are sick, the OP has the flu get over your fringe selves.

Grow a pair, son. Gargle with some warm salt water and get some extra sleep baw. And don’t be a dramatic leftist, that kills your immune system. Just a little sore, nothing to raise a fuss about.

That’ll be $5.

Hope you feel better. Don't listen to the people that are still living in a LIVE psyop and think they are in the enlightened matrix of corny old movie quotes.

They need to take a break from pot and come on back to reality.

It goes away in 48 hours. Feel better

My sister and her husband are both jabbed. Both were knocked on their arse for nearly two weeks from this flu. Jabbed aunt got covid again recently. None of my unvaccinated family or friends are sick.

I've had no covid jabs and never had any flu shots in my entire life. I've been taking the Ivermectin paste and vitamin D as a prophylaxis. So far so good.

We are fine. Still running fever every couple of hours and then it breaks, sweat, chills, and feel ok for a couple of hours. Then the cycle repeats. We will make it.

I was just curious if anyone else is having these symptoms. They are unlike any I’ve had with the flu.

Yikes
Soon you’ll have to take care of her, physically.
I’m 44 and she’s 30. I still think she is too old for me.

It tends to take a bit harder toll on you as you get farther along in age of course. And numerous other contributing factors that folks tend to overlook or forget about. I’m pretty knowledgeable in this area, not because I have any formal education or experience in any of it whatsoever, because I don’t, but I do have my TD medical degree and certification.

Anyway, regular Emergen-C doses, plenty of water, try to keep a regular diet (Chick fil a chicken noodle soup comes in handy here), get doubler the rest as usual, also importantly regular gargling with warm salty water even if no remarkable sore throat (other virum and bacterisims hole up there, so you gotta snuff them out.

Lastly and most importantly IMO - positive thoughts only. Anxiety and stress are the favorite meal of sickness.

Pureblood here and have been fighting off the flu for over a week. Best friend is also a Pureblood and is going on 10 days. Flu Type A is bad this year. Don’t think this one is associated with the shot.

I got sick for the first time in 2 1/2 years and had a bad respiratory illness in November. I tested negative for flu and Covid.

It was bad, but I used to get sick quite often before COVID. I worked in my churches nursery and I volunteered at an elementary school.

It was a bad illness in November, but I've had bad ones before.

Flu has gotten me very sick a few times even with flu shots.

I have asthma, and respiratory illnesses just make me sick

Flu is bad this year. I know many vaxxed and unvaxxed people who were out 2 weeks with it.

This Christmas I was notified that I was around a Covid+ person and my first reaction was "thank god it wasn't the flu" and the person who told me looked at me like I was an idiot

Don’t listen to this bull shite, OP

You have the flu. Some flu strains are an absolute bitch, plus you’re older now.

The flu sucks enough without the panic of tormenting yourself with decisions you made over a year ago.
