Why was Obama admin spying on the Trump team?

Simple question.
Why were those phones tapped? Because that's pure unadulterated corruption.

Because Hillary wanted to get dirt on Trump and thought she'd find something. Nothing interesting was found.
Then the DNC got hacked and this caused her and Obama to think "hmmm, could Trump be involved?" I don't think they really believed he was, but they wanted to try and pin it on him to hurt him in the election. The public didn't buy it and elected Trump anyway.
After that, they were enraged and just wanted revenge. So, they invented the story about "Russian hacking" and kept up the narrative that Trump was illegitimate.
Obama continued his spying during the transition as is evidenced by Flynn's calls being recorded. Furthermore, 17 days before Obama left office, he signed an EO that allowed 16 agencies to see unfiltered NSA spy data. He did this, of course, to make his leaks much harder to pin down.

We have one administration wiretapping another and then leaking "gotchas" to the press. There isn't a reason that could justify that.

The warrant was for servers in trump towers and it was limited to interaction with flagged Russian banks.

Flynn talked to a Russian ambassador who had a phone that was tapped. That is much different than Flynn having his phone tapped.

Did McCabe spill the beans to save his arse? One would have to believe ALL of the Chief Surrogates, pre and post election were tapped.
