It’s a simple fricking question. Is it fair to say that the reason there were more deaths in this hurricane was because the Media and the NHC basically got this storm wrong instead of Ron DeSantis being a very bad man because they hate him?

Ida was making a bee line for Baton Rouge until it jogged 30 miles to the east. Georges was headed straight Lake Borgne until it decided on hitting Pascagoula, MS. Gustav was expected to make landfall around Marsh Island until it didn't. Hurricanes Frederick and Opal were on a collision course with the Louisiana/Mississippi Gulf Coast until they destroyed Dauphin Island, AL, and Pensacola, FL, respectively. Hurricanes are predictably unpredictable, no conspiracies involved.

Evacuations were ordered for all of Lee county. Ft Myers is dead center in Lee County.
