The ONLY way Trump isn’t the nominee is if this act of political persecution is successful (either via a corrupt judiciary, or a corrupt RNC).
I mean if he keeps acting like basement Biden, this may be true. If Trump has to go out and defend himself in a setting where he doesn't control everything, I could easily see him get exposed. He's looking rough, physically and mentally (hence, hiding in his basement like Biden).

It’s funny. Dems have been begging this motherfricker to run for president since the 80’s, yet he never did until he felt he had to.

Trump ran for President because he wanted to start a news network and stumbled into popularity.

If so, i will just vote third party again or not vote.

There it is.
Lately they have all been peaking out of the closet. Several have stated this same thing.

National politics have become less important to me than local. I can't control anything beyond my town. They affect me more directly.

What is "it" your comment references?

No shite. This is why Trump will lose.

Not sure what huge rock you are under, but I've voted third party for over a decade in the presidential race.

Why Tribalism Took Over Our Politics
Because of articles that start like this
quote:
Ahead of his arrest on Thursday in Georgia, Donald Trump
It did not start with Trump. The media has made this man seem much more important than he actually is.
The media has completely divided us and most don’t even realize it.

quote:Did you post this on a leftist board as well? This really started during the late 1960s and ramped up again by the left after the 2000 election. The Right was late to the party, but your quotes seem to just focus on Trump's supporters.
Here you go, all you lizard brain fools. Your brain is hard wired for hostility and conflict, and most of you are too prone to giving into your emotion to push beyond that initial response to get to reasoned debate and decency

The current lack of faith in institutions can be traced to this point. It exploded after the Election deniers of 2000.

No shite.
The article references a 2013 and 2015 study, both are included in OP.
quote:
The media has completely divided us
The media has become partisan because the Left is smarter than the Right and invested in better institutions decades ago. The media, academia, tech are much better for politics than church, suburbia, and C-Suites.

Plus another double quarter pounder with cheese - super sized ....with a diet coke.

This isn't something profoundly new. I remember vitriolic division back to the sixties and you can bet all the way back to the beginning on man.
