So you think if the Republicans tried to impeach Biden, the Dems would vote for it and to remove him?

He won't get removed. But, I think it's OK to get the corruption on the record and expose the FBI/DOJ and media for the hypocrites they are when the entire Trump family would be under the jail for the same conduct.

Again for the billionth time, impeachment does not mean removal.

We have lived through two impeachments of President Donald Trump.

Both times he was impeached. Both times he was not removed because the Senate found him not guilty.

House impeaches. Senate holds a trial to determine guilt or not guilty and if guilty they remove.

Impeachment in the House is analogous to indictment by a grand jury in the criminal justice system.

The Senate trial after House impeachment is analogous to the trial in the criminal justice system after grand jury indictment.

It isn't a serious effort. They know they don't have the votes, but they also want to get the testimony on the record and expose more people to the perversion of the deep state center and left.

It is a worthy exercise.

They aren't trying to impeach him in the historical sense. They obviously don't have the votes in the Senate. They are however using the impeachment inquiry to highlight the corruption surrounding the Biden family in a venue that forces MSM to cover it. The "impeachment" will be in November.
