I think he isn't seeming as funny perhaps because it is a time to be more serious based off the condition we find ourselves in as a nation after Biden's shitfest, that and/or you are not looking for it. I'm not sure of your political bent towards him because that might be skewing your judgment as well. I think the ground is shifting under peoples' feet. Right now, at this moment, these past few months. We're getting into a new reality of lawlessness, open-border anarchy, and an inflationary debt-spiral. It's getting very grave, and the sense of dread amongst folks 'on the ground' is palpable.
Trump's tweets and speeches, FoxNews' blathering about Ukraine, Hunter Biden, or beltway politics, the election as a whole... it all seems rather dated, rather frivolous, at this point. People are entering a siege mentality. The politicians and the media-bubble around it all seem woefully behind-the-curve.
